More Energy Investors Come to S/Leone +

As a way of supporting the Government and People of Sierra Leone in the area of Electricity,Shenzen Energy/ SunonAsgoli Power Ghana Ltd, is set to deploy in Freetown a 20MWp Solar Plant with a transmission line to transmit generated power to the grid holding other things unbroken.
This was disclosed at a meeting held at the conference room of the Ministry of Energy in Freetown on Monday 29th March between epxerts of the Ministry and a 7 Man delegation from Ghana headed by the Sierra Leone High Commissioner, Her Excellency Frances Virginia Anderson(Mrs)
Such a deployment according to the visiting team is aimed at surmounting the challenges presently encountered in the Energy sector, thereby causing interrupted electricity supply in the capital city.
It will also provide power for use in the development of 180MW Bokongo Hydro Power plant within the next 3-4 years.
High Commissioner Francess Virginia Anderson (Mrs.) on behalf of President Julius Maada Bio thanked members of the Shenzen Energy/ SunonAsgoli Power Ghana Ltd team for choosing Sierra Leone, and pledged the commitment of the  Government in making it a success for the good of all Sierra Leoneans.
The team of 7 led by High Commissioner Anderson met with energy experts of the Ministry of Energy, Minister of Internal Affairs and the Minister of Lands Housing and Country Planning, who pledged their support in making the deployment a success.
