A joint delegation of international moral guarantors is due in Sierra Leone this week to assess progress on the implementation of the Agreement of National Unity and recommendations from the Tripartite Committee report, according to a statement.

The delegation is expected to hold talks with leaders of the All People’s Congress (APC) as well as President Julius Maada Bio during the visit, scheduled from April 13 to 17.

A meeting with APC leadership has been set for Tuesday, April 14, at the party’s headquarters in Brookfields, Freetown, as part of broader consultations aimed at reviewing progress and addressing outstanding issues.

The visit forms part of ongoing international engagement to support political dialogue and stability following the unity agreement, which was designed to ease tensions and promote inclusive governance.

The delegation’s discussions are expected to focus on the status of agreed reforms and the implementation of key recommendations outlined in the Tripartite Committee report.
