With a show of demonstration of cooperation and efficiency Ecobank Sierrra Leone and the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) have both amicably resolved a financial with the return of 34,825,176.87 to the State . The settlement was reached on the basis of resolving the case outside the courts. As a reputable Bank , it has opted for a Swift resolution to avoid drawn out legal proceedings and ensure the monies are returned without any delay. Even though the bank has always asserts its innnocence of the matter that it was not at fault for the alleged loss of money, this move shows it doesn’t want to go into protracted litigation over the loss of public funds.
