The Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) has officially announced the dates for a series of internal elections for the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) in Constituency 015, located in the Kenema District.
In a public notice released on Saturday, the PPRC outlined the full schedule, beginning with the Bonya Sectional Elections, which are set to take place on Sunday, 8th June 2025, in Panguma, starting at 10:00 AM.
This will be followed by the Constituency Elections for Constituency 015 on Monday, 9th June 2025, at the Old District Council Office on Maxwell Khobe Street, Kenema. Proceedings will commence at 10:00 AM.
Finally, the Kenema District Elections will be held on Wednesday, 11th June 2025, at the same venue and time.
The PPRC has called on all eligible members of the SLPP within the constituency to present the following documents in order to participate:
1. A valid SLPP membership card (including the newly printed ones),
2. A form of national identification — such as a National ID Card, National Passport, 2023 Voter ID Card, or Driver’s License.
The notice, signed by Lucien H.L. Momoh, Director of Training and External Relations at the PPRC, urged party members to adhere to the guidelines and cooperate fully to ensure a peaceful and orderly election process.
