SLPP Grassroots Chairlady in Kono Denies Affiliation With APC

More News

The Grassroots Chairlady of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) in Kono District, Madam Princess Diddy Pratt, has denied any affiliation with the All People’s Congress (APC), following the circulation of a delegates list on social media bearing her name.

Her response comes after her name appeared on a document circulating online, numbered 721, which is believed to be a provisional delegates list for the APC’s upcoming lower-level elections in Kono District.

In a statement issued on Monday, Madam Pratt said she was not a member of the APC and had not given consent for her name to be included on any delegates list associated with the party.

She said she was neither consulted nor informed prior to the publication of the list.

“I wish to categorically make it clear to the leadership of my party, the SLPP, both in Kono District and at the national level, that I was born SLPP and remain SLPP,” she said.

Madam Pratt described the inclusion of her name on the list as misleading and reaffirmed her commitment to the SLPP and its grassroots structures in Kono District.
