Mr. Braima Allieu, the Regional Manager of SALWACO-East, has visited the Kailahun Water Treatment Station to assess work/progress so far under the Six Towns Water Supply Project funded by the government of Sierra Leone.
The project according to Mr. Allieu is aimed at optimizing the water supply system in Kailahun township as the demand for water keeps increasing.
Mr. Allieu expressed his delight over the progress made so far by the contractors.
He also visited the water pipes’ relocation site along the Buedu-Kailahun highway which is under construction. He thanked Mr. Aiah Yonga, SALWACO’s Station Manager in Kailahun and team for the good work and encouraged them to continue in the same spirit.
Mr. Allieu further encouraged the team to channel all challenges and concerns faced to the SALWACO management via the regional office for appropriate solvable actions. This visit he said will continue in other SALWACO operational locations in the Eastern Region.
