PUBLIC REVIEW SPORT FIFA & CAF Presidents Jet in S/Leone
FIFA and CAF president Gianni Infantino, and Patrice Motsepe has arrived in Sierra Leone respectively, as part of a high powered delegation to look into issues surrounding the much acclaimed Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) election congress.
The delegation is expected to set the stage for a condusive atmosphere ahead of the elections which has caused a lot of bickering and acrimony among the football family of Sierra Leone.
The SLFA secretariat has released correspondences to football stakeholders with regards the arrival of FIFA, CAF presidents and other dignitaries in Sierra Leone.
 According to SLFA, all invited guests are kindly requested to collect their accreditations at the SLFA Secretariat, Kingtom in Freetown.
The SLFA secretariat has made it categorically clear that only accredited guests would be allowed to access the Radison Blu Hotel for the occasion.
E.E LIONS FACES PUNISHMENT FOR HOOLIGANISM
East End Lions football, the defending champion of the Sierra Leone Premier League is being penalized by the country`s Premier League Board for causing a match between EE Lions and Bai bureh Warriors to be abruptly abandoned due to pitch invasion of the former`s supporters.
The Sierra Leone Premier League Board predicating it decision on the match commissioners report stating inter alia, that “a group of supporters putting on E.E Lions Jerseys rushed at the officiating, accusing them of bias in officiating the game and further threatened that if they were not careful they will be beaten before the match endedâ€.
The Premier League Board in the circumstances that followed has ordered that
1. That the 3 points and 3 goals are awarded in favour of Bai Bureh Warriors football club.
2.That EE Lions Football Club are fined Le2,500,000(Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Leones) to be paid in the Sierra Leone Premier League Account at the Union Trust Bank and receipt of payment made available to the Secretariat of the Premier League Board on or before honouring their next league fixtures.
