Police arrest notorious thieves  behind EDSA electricity transformer and cables theft

Kissy Police devision, east end of Freetown have successfully arrested two notorious thieves caught removing the government Electricity Distribution Supply Authority (EDSA) transformer cables installed closer to the ECSL warehouse at the Wellington industrial estate.

The thieves : 23-year-old Mohamed Jalloh of Magnus Street, Wellington, and 24-year-old Mohamed Kamara of Long Bench, Calaba Town were arrested by the Police  after they were caught cutting the EDSA transformer cables that eventually a caused a huge blast and power outages in the community .

The Police at the Kissy Division, led by Local Unit Commander  Bob Musa Mansaray had gotten the tips after the huge noise , then a swift response of the Operations Team went to the scence and chased the thieves after an angry mob from the Wellington community attempted to descend on them.
