NSA Launches Fundraising Drive to Ship Donated Artificial Turfs from Denmark.

More News

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has launched a nationwide fundraising campaign to cover the shipment costs of 20 artificial football turfs generously donated to Sierra Leone by Danish partners.

Following a successful working visit to Denmark by NSA Executive Director Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai, over 30 turfs were pledged to support Sierra Leone’s sports infrastructure. However, the NSA is now calling on corporate institutions, mobile and mining companies, and private citizens to help raise the $50,000 per turf required for shipping.

A fundraising committee, including officials from the Ministry of Sports, NSA, and Sports Ambassador Charlie Bio Jr., will be reaching out to stakeholders.

Contributions can be made through the NSA’s disbursement account at the Bank of Sierra Leone.
