The Leone Rock Premier League Week 6 kicked off with SLIFA holding Wilberforce Strikers to a 0-0 draw with a stellar performance from goalkeeper Francis Koroma; taking home the Man of The Match award.
League leaders Bhantal FC continue their unbeaten run as Adebayor Black’s lone goal gives them a vital win, taking their points tally to 16. Diamond Stars came from 2-0 down to comfortably win 3-2 against FC Kallon. Coach Pa Issa Conteh brought in the former Cavalier starlet Baimba Sesay who helped compose a fairytale comeback against FC Kallon.
The league debutants Star Sport Academy secured a 2-1 win against defending champions Bo Rangers. With a brace in the 34th and 79th minutes, it was enough for Abdulai Kamara to bag the player of the match award.
East End Lions secured a 1-0 win against Ports Authority courtesy of a sensational finish from their star man Sulaiman S. Kargbo.
Mighty Blackpool, Bai Bureh Warriors and Kamboi Eagles are the only teams that are unable to record a win in the league so far.
