Mohamed Gento Kamara is a fine, gentle businessman, who before entering into politics was once described as one of the finest and most diligent and hardworking young Sierra Leonean who believes in developing the human resource by supporting many young people from all works of life.

His fame grew amongst the youths when he pronounced his candidature to run for the second-most prestigious title in Freetown; The Freetown City Mayoral position
Many couldn’t follow or understand the dynamics involved in such a enviable position.
The Krios,according to history have been in that seat for many tenure for both APC and SLPP and the only native to have said to be in that position was late Sir Siaka Steven.
A Mayor of a City works in consonant with the Local Council as enshrined by our 1991 constitution.
Her Worship or His Worship, helps in protecting its sovereignty from many issues.Transforming Freetown into a global place.
Served as a custodian of the local government in ensuring that the city is well maintained and protected.
Some of his contracts were given to him by the the former government of Ernest Bai Koroma,like the Hill-court bye pass road.
Gento, was said to have desire to transform Freetown with his Tipi collection methodology but it didn’t work out for him.
Gento’s fame grew like wildfire in the Harmattan because of his philanthropic work with young people, especially the football family.
Many considered him to be the savior of the city but not knowing that the SLPP government used him to lure more votes from the Western Area, which they succeeded in doing but today he is the scape goat of the current government rigime.Too bad.
During his campaigned period,he declared to his supporters that he is currently the acting Mayor of the Freetown Municipality,which according to law that is even a crime and deception to the highest degree.
The Freetown Tipi Collection man was disgracefully defeated by the incumbent Mayor, Her worship, Yvonne Aki Sawyyer of the APC Party, who was deprived of performing her numerous duties in the past five years of her service by the current government of Julius Maada Bio, who the APC party did describe his winning in the then 24th June,23, as rigged by the bullet-ballot–votes.
Many paid-up Bloggers by Gento or this government knew that the Tipi Collection man, who cannot articulate well for the general good will find it difficult to stand the test of time when it comes to international representation. But yet vuvuzela’s him on social media without Mohamed Konneh, the rogue referee to pronounce the winner.
Gento was only needed to gain votes in the city for the SLPP. Shameful!
I know compensation awaits him but that’s not what he desires.
