A tragic incident has been reported in Koya Khenfilie, Samu Chiefdom, Kambia District, where a six-year-old boy is alleged to have been beaten to death by his father, identified as Foday Turay. The incident reportedly occurred on Friday, May 1, 2026.
According to community sources, the father allegedly attempted to force the child to consume a locally prepared herbal substance. When the boy refused, the man is said to have subjected him to severe physical abuse, which reportedly led to the child’s death.
