Sierra Leone’s football association has appointed new boards to run the country’s 2025/26 men’s and women’s premier leagues, the body said in a statement .
The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) said the boards would oversee the organisation, regulation and promotion of top-flight competitions during the coming season. The appointments were approved by the SLFA Executive Committee following consultations with football stakeholders.
The association said the move was part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve standards in domestic football. Details of individual appointees were published on the SLFA’s official Facebook page.
The men’s and women’s leagues are the highest tiers of organised football in Sierra Leone and serve as a pathway for players into the national teams.
