Bhantal FC stretched their lead at the top of the Premier League to four points as they defeated relegation-threatened Ports Authority at Approved School Field.
Mohamed Kamara gave Bhantal the lead with a powerful finish in the second minute, and Alusine Fornah added a second before Alibu Jalloh scored for Ports in stoppage time.
It was Bhantal’s sixth win of the season, with the other result being a draw. They gained promotion to the league last season and finished second.
Their next fixture is against Diamond Stars on February 10 at Approved School Field, while Ports Authority, who sit seventeenth, will host Wilberforce Strikers on February 9.
There are four matches on Sunday as Diamond Stars will host East End Lions, Old Edwardians will welcome FC Kallon, Kamboi Eagles will entertain Bai Bureh Warriors, and Bullom Stars will take on Wusum Stars.
