Sierra Leone’s main opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) has announced the postponement of its constituency-level internal elections, the party said.
The APC said new dates for the lower-level elections will be announced on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
No immediate reason was given for the postponement.
The constituency elections form part of the party’s internal reorganisation process ahead of future political activities, including preparations for upcoming national polls.
