SLFA Boss Thomas Daddy Brima leads delegation to Yaoundé ahead of AFCON draw
The President of the Sierra Leone Football Associationm Mr. Thomas Daddy Brima has today Saturday, August 14 led a four man delegation to Yaoundé, Cameroon to represent the country in the TotalEnergies AFCON 2021 draw scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 1800 hours (6pm).
Other members of the delegation include Leone Stars Team Manager- BabadiKamara, Head Coach John Edward Keister and SLFA’s Protocol and Event Manager- Abu BakarrKamara.
SLFA Boss, Brima, who travels as one of CAF President Motsepe’s special guests, like his colleague FA Presidents, is expected to play an active role in the draw exercise which will see the 24 Nations divided into six groups of four each.
Head of Protocol- Abu BakarrKamara with special assistance from CAF Laison Officer attached to Sierra Leone- Bengono Rene Armand is expected to begin logistical arrangements on behalf of the Sierra Leone National Team delegation ahead of the tournament which is scheduled to last from Sunday January 9 to Sunday February 6 2022.
Sierra Leone is currently in Port 3 along with Guinea-Bissau, Zimbabwe, Mauritania, Gabon and Cape Verde.
