A new investigative report has raised serious concerns about the alleged use of private jets and military personnel to shield notorious Dutch drug trafficker, Jos Leijdekkers, also known as “Bolle Jos,” while operating in parts of West Africa.
According to a detailed feature by Sierraloaded, Leijdekkers—who is on Europe’s most-wanted list—has reportedly received protection from certain state actors in the region, allowing him to move freely under the radar. The report claims that military escorts and privately chartered jets have been used to facilitate his movements, despite international warrants for his arrest.
Leijdekkers is wanted by Dutch authorities and Interpol in connection with large-scale cocaine trafficking and violent criminal activities. His operations are said to span several countries, with West Africa allegedly serving as a key transit hub for illicit drug shipments headed to Europe.
While no official confirmation has been issued by regional governments, the allegations, if true, point to serious breaches in national security and international cooperation in the fight against organized crime.
The report has sparked public outrage and calls for an immediate, independent investigation into how such a high-profile fugitive could operate so freely—possibly with state backing.
